Belíssimo show! Mais uma apresentação em que Doyle teve como convidado especial, Rich Robinson , ex integrante do Black Crowes.
Deixo para vcs um review especial feito pela amiga Heidi Widmer da Suiça que gentilmente cedeu a publicação. Ela esteve lá e conferiu tudo direitinho e conta para nós com detalhes o que vivenciou naquela noite.
18th February 2015 - Doyle Bramhall II @ O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. --- Doyle Bramhall II met Rich Robinson on the 2014 Experience Hendrix Tour and the latter, guitarist of the recently dissolved Black Crowes, was announced as a special guest a little while after the London concert went on sale. Rich was to perform the entire show with Doyle, however he didn’t know that he had to play a support slot as well but no problem for a professional like him. The backing musicians turned out to be the same for both sets. Prior to their taking to the stage for the main show there was an Indian intro, not surprising as Doyle and Rich had just arrived from Mumbai’s Mahindra Blues Festival. During the following 2 hours Doyle pulled out all the stops and Rich was a fantastic addition, a soulmate who has similar musical influences. The set also featured some cover versions by Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters and Freddie King. It was an amazing vintage rock performance and I was not the only one travelling a long way to catch it, the guy next to me was from York, the folks behind me from the Netherlands, some from France etc. I have seen Doyle many times supporting Eric Clapton or playing in his band but this show was a different experience altogether. He is a truly gifted musician, well known for his unique left-handed playing style, and knocked out some otherworldly solos on Wednesday night. As an afterthought, it will be essential to release a new album to give Doyle's career an additional boost, especially if he’d consider more touring in Europe. His website says it’s due in 2015. I really hope so, the waiting has been too long.

***** MAHINDRA BLUES FESTIVAL 2015 *****
Realizado em 14 de fevereiro em Mumbai na India. Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, Doyle está presente juntos com outros celebridades num dos maiores festivais de Musica da India.
Este ano, os artistas que comporam o line up eram : Buddy Guy, Nikki Hill, Doyle Bramhall II, Rich Robinson, Thorbjorn Risager, Quinn Sullivan
Doyle teve como convidado especial em seu set, nada menos que Rich Robinson ( ex-Black Crowes)
